Vol. 158 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Cork Compulsory Purchase Order Inquiry.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state the reason for the delay in forwarding to the Cork County Council the result of the inquiry held last November concerning a compulsory purchase Order in respect of housing sites in the Cork and Midleton areas.

There has been no undue delay in this matter. The inspector held the local inquiry last December into the question of confirming the Order. His report is under examination and my decision will be conveyed to the local authority without delay.
