Vol. 159 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Leaving Certificate Examination.

asked the Minister for Education if he will state in respect of each of the years 1954 and 1955 the numbers of boys and girls, respectively, who presented themselves for the secondary schools leaving certificate examination, also the numbers and percentages examined and who passed, with or without honours, in each science subject.

As the reply is in the form of a tabular statement I propose with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle to have it circulated with the Official Report.

Following is the statement:—
