Vol. 159 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Nuclear Power Station.

asked the Minister for External Affairs if, in view of the fact that the Government of Northern Ireland has decided to erect a nuclear power station, he will state the intentions of the Government in connection with the erection of such a station.

The erection of a nuclear power station in the Six Counties is a matter for the Six County authorities. I have already expressed on more than one occasion the desire of the Government to co-operate with the Six Counties in matters concerning the peaceful uses of atomic energy in Ireland.
