Vol. 159 No. 10

Committee on Finance. - Vote 19—Expenses under the Electoral Act and the Juries Act.

I move:—

That a sum not exceeding £19,000 be granted to defray the Charge which will come in course of payment during the year ending on the 31st day of March, 1957, for Expenses under the Electoral Act, 1923, and the Juries Act, 1927 (No. 12 of 1923 and No. 23 of 1927).

Before the question is put, I want to ask the Minister for Finance if the Estimate includes anything for the forthcoming General Election?

Really, the Deputy was helpful a few minutes ago and he should not try to spoil his reputation.

It is only the forecast of the Irish Times.

Vote put and agreed to.
