Vol. 159 No. 11

Questions— Oral Answers. - Dublin Traffic Problem.

asked the Minister for Local Government whether any plan to ease the present unsatisfactory traffic position in the central Dublin area has been submitted to him, and, if so, if he will state the nature of such plan.

No such plan has been submitted to me. I understand that the position is kept constantly under review by the Commissioner of the Garda Síochána in consultation with Dublin Corporation and that steps taken recently by the commissioner to reduce indiscriminate parking have already shown good results.
