Vol. 159 No. 11

Order of Business.

I wonder can we get any indication if a time-table has been agreed on for the rest of the business for to-day?

The Chair has no information.

Mr. de Valera

Was there not some agreement?

That is what I am inquiring.

Mr. de Valera

I understood that roughly about this time the business other than the Taoiseach's Estimate would be concluded.

Mr. de Valera

The position as I see it, then, is that we go on to discuss the Estimate.

Is there any time-table for the remainder of the discussion?

Mr. de Valera

In the discussion of the Estimate, I do not think there is anything definitely arranged, because we do not know how many more Deputies may desire to speak.

I understood that it was not desired to have a debate on the Appropriation Bill, and that whatever debate there was would be on the Taoiseach's Estimate.

Mr. de Valera

I think that is so.
