Vol. 160 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Pig Prices.

asked the Taoiseach if he will state, in respect of each month since October, 1953, the average price per cwt. dead weight paid by bacon factories for pigs.

I propose, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, to circulate in the Official Report the statement giving the desired information for the period up to July, 1956, the latest month for which the particulars are available.

Following is the statement:—

AVERAGE price per cwt. (dead weight) paid by bacon factories for pigs* in each month from October, 1953, to July, 1956.
