Private Members' Business. - Minister for Gaeltacht—Statement by Taoiseach.

A Cheann Comhairle, I beg leave to state, for the information of the Dáil, that, on my nomination with the previous approval of Dáil Éireann, the President has to-day appointed Deputy Patrick James Lindsay to be a member of the Government and that—in accordance with my intimation to the Dáil earlier to-day —I have terminated the assignment of the Department of the Gaeltacht to General Mulcahy and have assigned that Department to Deputy Lindsay.

The Dáil adjourned at 10.30 p.m. until 3 p.m. on Thursday, 25th October, 1956.
