Written Answers. - Building of Factories.
The records of my Department do not show the number of new factories built. It will be appreciated that new industrial projects or extensions to existing industrial undertakings do not always necessitate the building of factory premises; they may be housed in premises purchased or acquired under lease and suitably converted. I have had inquiries made in the matter from the Department of Local Government and the General Valuation Office and it appears that the information sought by the Deputy is not available from these sources either.
