Vol. 160 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Town and Regional Planning Acts.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state the authority under which a local authority may compel a manager to carry out their wishes in determining applications under the Town and Regional Planning Acts.

I would refer the Deputy to the provisions of Section 2 of the City and County Management (Amendment) Act, 1955, regarding the furnishing of prior information to members of a local authority of the manager's proposals and to the power of requisition provided in Section 4 of the Act.
