There is no statutory control over the price of maize meal. I am informed, however, that the price of the product mentioned, which is a maize meal mixture, was increased by 10/- per ton recently and that this mixture, in common with other mixtures of a similar nature, was increased in price as a result of the inclusion of barley in the millers' grist.
