Vol. 160 No. 6

Written Answers. - Capital Development Schemes.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will state in respect of each year since 1932 the amount of State money provided for capital development schemes under the heads (a) below the line services, and (b) capital services included in the Estimates since 1949.

The appended statement gives the totals of "below the line" issues in each of the years 1931-2 to 1955-6 and of annual expenditure on voted capital services since 1949-50. Prior to 1949-50 capital items included in the Voted Services were not segregated.
