asked the Minister for Finance if he will state in respect of the period 1923 to 1932 the amount of State money spent on arterial drainage.

The amount of State money spent on arterial drainage (excluding Headquarters engineering and administration charges) in the period 1923 to 1932 was £412,000.

Over nine years.

The Deputy said there was nothing the other day.
