asked the Minister for Finance if he will state in respect of each of the years 1952/53, 1953/54, 1954/55 and 1955/56 the number of works carried out under minor employment schemes in the rural districts of Ballina, Belmullet, Swinford and Westport, and the proposed number to be carried out in each district in the year 1956/57.
I propose, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, to take Questions Nos. 23 and 24 together, and as the information requested is in the form of a tabular statement, to circulate it with the Official Report.
As the amounts actually expended are not readily available for subdivisions of a county, I have given instead figures based on the allocations for each year.
