Vol. 160 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Glengad Fishermen's Difficulties.

asked the Minister for Agriculture whether, in view of the importance of finding a solution for the difficulties of the Glengad fishermen, he is prepared to receive a deputation as requested by their fishery development committee.

I am unable to see that any useful purpose would be achieved by receiving such a deputation as is suggested by the Deputy. As I intimated in reply to a question on 25th October last I have informed the Donegal County Council of my decision, and I await their observations.
