Vol. 160 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Meath New School.

asked the Minister for Finance whether tenders for the erection of a new national school at Rathregan, Batterstown, County Meath, have been accepted, and whether the work is likely to commence soon.

The placing of a contract for the erection of this school has had to be deferred because the existing contractual commitments of the Commissioners of Public Works in respect of expenditure of grants on school building, enlargement and improvement in the current financial year will fully exhaust the amount provided in the Estimates.
