The Land Commission took possession of an area of 361 acres on this estate less than a week ago. It is not yet possible to indicate when allotment will take place.

asked the Minister for Lands what is the present position regarding the acquisition and division of the James Rafftery estate, lands of White Park, north-west of Woodlawn, County Galway.

Proceedings have been instituted for the acquisition of an area of 155 acres on this estate but an objection to acquisition, lodged by the owner, is awaiting hearing.
