(a) The Agricultural Production Council to which the Taoiseach referred in his speech of the 5th October, 1956, is composed of representatives of the following bodies, namely: Agricultural Association of Ireland; General Council of Committees of Agriculture; Irish Agricultural Organisation Society, Ltd; Irish Creamery Milk Suppliers' Association; Irish Sugar Beet Growers' Association, Ltd.; Macra na Feirme; Muintir na Tíre; National Executive of the Irish Live Stock Trade; The National Farmers' Association.
I have also invited the Irish Countrywomen's Association to be represented on the council.
The terms of reference of the council are to give advice and assistance to the Minister for Agriculture in relation to matters affecting agricultural pro-production generally. Would it suit the convenience of the House if the names were circulated in the Official Report? I may mention that one of them is Deputy Corry.
