Agricultural Institute Bill, 1956—First Stage.

Leave granted to introduce a Bill entitled an Act to provide for the establishment of an institute for agricultural research to be known as the Agricultural Institute of Ireland and to provide for other matters connected therewith.—(Minister for Agriculture.)

Can the Minister indicate when the Bill is likely to be circulated?

I take it that the Minister cannot take any steps to form the institute until the Bill is passed?
