asked the Minister for Finance whether any part of the American Loan Counterpart Fund had been expended in buying any stock issued by the Dublin Corporation and, if so, to what extent.

I would refer the Deputy to the published annual accounts of the fund which have been presented to both Houses of the Oireachtas and from which it will be seen that no part of the American Loan Counterpart Fund was used to buy either 3½ per cent Exchequer Bonds, 1965-70, or stock of the Dublin Corporation.
