Vol. 160 No. 14

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Offaly County Council Loans.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will state in relation to the Offaly County Council what proposals for loans from the Local Loans Fund are at present before him, and when payment will be made.

Proposals in relation to the Offaly County Council for loans from the Local Loans Fund amounting to £40,000 under the Labourers Acts and £5,000 under the Small Dwellings Acquisition Acts are at present before me and are being examined departmentally. Pending the completion of this examination, I cannot say to what extent the proposals will be accepted.
