Vol. 160 No. 15

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Garristown (Dublin) School.

asked the Minister for Education whether he is aware that in Garristown national school there are at present more than 50 pupils in excess of the number which can be accommodated properly, and if he will state when an extra room will be built.

I am aware that the national school at Garristown, County Dublin, is overcrowded at present. The Commissioners of Public Works are proceeding with the preliminary arrangements for the carrying out of a scheme for the erection of an additional classroom at the school and hope to be in a position to place a contract for the scheme at an early date.
