Written Answers. - Ways and Means Advances.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will state the amount expended out of ways and means advances to meet the cost of (a) Central Fund services, and (b) voted services during the year ended 31st March, 1951, and during each of the quarters ended 30th June, 30th September and 31st December, 1951.

The information requested by the Deputy cannot be given as Ways and Means advances are raised for general Exchequer purposes and cannot be identified with particular services.
