Written Answers. - Borrowings from Loan Counterpart Fund.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will state (a) the total amount borrowed from the American Loan Counterpart Fund as ways and means advances within each of the quarters ended 30th June, 30th September and 31st December, 1951; (b) in respect of each of these periods the total amount paid out of the Exchequer for capital supply services, as issues under (i) the Electricity Supply Acts, (ii) the Local Loans Fund Acts, (iii) the Turf Development Acts, (iv) the Telephone Capital Acts, (v) the Transport Acts, and (vi) any other Act of the Oireachtas under which issues may be made, and as issues for the redemption of debt; and (c) the balances in the Exchequer at 31st March, 30th June, 30th September and 31st December, 1951, respectively.
