asked the Taoiseach if he will state in respect of each year from and including 1950 the number of working days lost on account of illness in all occupations, and the estimated cost.

It is regretted that the information asked for by the Deputy is not available. The only relevant particulars available are in respect of workers insured under the former National Health Insurance Acts and under the Social Welfare Act. In the case of these persons the number of days of certified incapacity for work due to illness in the years specified were as follows:—
