Vol. 168 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Improvements at Offaly School.

asked the Minister for Education if he will state the reason for the delay in proceeding with urgently required improvements at Leamonaghan National School, Offaly.

A grant has been sanctioned by my Department towards the cost of a scheme of improvements at Leamonaghan National School, Offaly. It is now a matter for the Commissioners of Public Works to make the remaining arrangements for the carrying out of the scheme. These arrangements will take some further time to complete but every effort will be made to have them completed with all possible speed so that the scheme of improvements may be commenced at an early date.
