Written Answers. - Inquiries into Economic conditions Related to Agriculture.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will state (a) the number of commissions and/or committees set up by the Government or by him since 1923 to inquire into economic conditions with reference to agriculture and related subjects, and (b) the year in which each body submitted its report.

The number of commissions or committees which seem to come within the ambit of the question put by the Deputy is ten. Particulars of these and of the years in which their reports were submitted are as follows:—

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will indicate the names of foreign experts who have made surveys since 1923 at his request or at that of the Government in relation to economic conditions with reference to agriculture and related subjects, and the titles and dates of issue of their reports.
