Vol. 171 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Drainage Priority List.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will give a list of the rivers included amongst 30 minor catchment areas contained on a provisional list for priority treatment under the Arterial Drainage Act, 1945; and whether it will be possible to alter the priority list so as to enable the Tolka river catchment area to receive special area attention in view of the serious flooding in recent years from the coast to Clonee.

The provisional priority list of minor catchment areas for treatment under the Arterial Drainage Act, 1945, will be found in Volume 152, No. 4 (columns 517 and 518) of the Dáil Debates.

It is not proposed to alter the position of the Tolka catchment in the list.

The Suck is in that but I hear it has gone wallop.

It was not Fianna Fáil who sucked it out of it.

Indeed, it was. There is no doubt about it.
