Vol. 171 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Representation at British Food Fair.

asked the Minister for Agriculture why Ireland was not represented at the British Food Fair in London.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will state why there was no display of Irish goods at the British Food Fair in London this year.

With the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 63 and 64 together.

As I indicated in the Dáil on the 15th July, 1958, it was decided to suspend participation in future fairs until the whole question of the value of this form of publicity had been further considered.
