Vol. 171 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Division of Kildare Lands.

asked the Minister for Lands whether the Land Commission have acquired the Walsh farm at Martinstown, Enfield, County Kildare, and, if so, when it is proposed to divide the land.

This estate has been acquired by the Land Commission. It is not yet possible to state when the lands will be divided but there will be no avoidable delay.

Is it likely that the lands will be divided next year?

I would say possibly. The estate was acquired in the early part of last year.

asked the Minister for Lands whether the Land Commission have acquired the Coleman farm at Mulgeeth, Enfield, County Kildare, and, if so, when it is proposed to divide the land.

I presume the Deputy is referring to the Coleman estate at Killeighter. The Land Commission have no proceedings for the acquisition of these lands.
