Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Imports of Harvesting Equipment.

asked the Taoiseach if he will state the estimated numbers and value of (a) combine harvesters and (b) other harvesting equipment which were imported since the end of September, 1957 to the latest available date.

I propose, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, to circulate in the Official Report a statement showing the number and value of (a) combine harvesters and (b) other agricultural machinery for harvesting, threshing and sorting, according to official import list descriptions, which were imported in the period 1st October, 1957, and 31st August, 1958.

Following is the statement:—
