Vol. 171 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. - Hotel Staff Training Course.

asked the Minister for Education if he is aware of the dissatisfaction caused not only in Wexford but in adjoining counties by the transfer of the hotel staff training course from Wexford to Donegal; and if he will state the reasons for the transfer.

Hotel staff training courses have been in operation in County Donegal in recent years as well as in County Wexford. Difficulties were experienced this year in securing suitable premises in County Wexford and, accordingly, it was found necessary to arrange for the accommodation, at the Donegal course, of intending students of the Wexford course. I understand, however, that these difficulties have now been overcome and that a course will commence in County Wexford shortly.
