Vol. 171 No. 6

Finance (Miscellaneous Provisions) Bill, 1958—Committee and Final Stages.

Sections 1 to 14, inclusive, agreed to.
Question proposed: "That the Title be the Title of the Bill."

This is a highly complicated measure. Does the Minister propose to issue anything in the nature of detailed instructions from the Revenue Commissioners as to how its various provisions are to be interpreted, or does he propose to leave the sections to speak for themselves?

Does this matter arise on the Title?

I thought it would be better than raising it on the Fifth Stage.

I am sure we will have to, if there are inquiries about it.

I was thinking that if people were coming in here, there would be a hand-out.

There is a hand-out.

If there is a hand-out, will the Minister arrange to send a copy to me?

Question put and agreed to.
Bill reported without amendment.
Agreed to take remaining stages to-day.
Bill received for final consideration and passed.

This is a Money Bill within the meaning of Article 22 of the Constitution.
