Vol. 171 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dromardmore (Tipperary) Bog.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce whether Bord na Móna intend to take over the bog situated at Dromardmore, County Tipperary; and whether the present owners and users will be left portion of the bog.

I am informed by Bord na Móna that they have decided to acquire portion of the bog situated at Dromardmore, County Tipperary, which is known in the board's records as Knockahaw bog. I am further informed that it is the board's intention, where at all possible, to leave portion of the bog with existing owners for their own use.
