Vol. 171 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Acquisition and Division of Cork Lands.

asked the Minister for Lands whether the Land Commission have considered the propriety of acquiring the Greene estate, Bushy Park, Kildinan, for division amongst uneconomic holders of land in the district.

There are no proceedings for the acquisition of this estate but I understand that the attention of the Land Commission has been drawn to the lands and they have some information about present use and ownership.

asked the Minister for Lands when the Land Commission intend to proceed with the division of the lands of Moorepark, Kilworth, County Cork, amongst uneconomic landholders in the district.

Though it is not yet possible to state when all these lands can be allotted I can say that arrangements are well advanced and that there are hopes for the early allotment of a substantial area.
