Notes.—The National Health Insurance Fund was merged in the Social Insurance Fund set up under the Social Welfare Act, 1952 on the 5th January, 1953.
On the 1st August, 1954 hospital and convalescent home benefit in respect of insured persons was terminated and corresponding services became available under the Health Acts administered by Health Authorities.
The expenditure since the 1st August, 1954 included in the figures above relates to liabilities in respect of insured person incurred before termination of the benefit.
