Notes.—(i) The present basic weekly rates as set out are those obtaining for time-work, i.e., they exclude additional earnings under the incentive bonus scheme which is now in operation at the centres marked*.
(ii) In Counties Dublin and Kildare, the present basic rates are lower than the former rates. Any employee who enjoyed the former rates retains them in the form of a guarantee which, when the incentive bonus scheme has been applied at his forest, guarantees total earnings not lower than the previous rate.
(b) Forest centres at which it is intended to apply the incentive bonus scheme in the near future: Bansha, Glen of Aherlow, Urlingford, Newport, Silvermines, Temple-derry, Rathnew, Mullinavat, Piltown, Rathduff, Macroom, Tuam, Drumsna, Swanlinbar, Glen of Imaal.
This list is provisional and subject to alterations in the light of experience.
