Tá orm a chur in iúl don Dáil go bhfuiltear tar éis na daoine seo a leanas a roghnú mar ionadaithe agus leas-ionadaithe ó Eirinn don Aonú Gnáth-Sheisiún Déag de Thionól Comhairlitheach Chomhairle na hEorpa a thosós i Strasbourg Dé Luain, 20 Aibreán, 1959. Is iad seo a leanas na h-ionadaithe atá roghnaithe:— An Teachta Seán O Loingsigh, Aire Oideacais; An Teachta Lionel Booth; An Teachta Breanadan Mac Fheorais; An Teachta Déaglán Ó Coistealbha. Is iad seo a leanas na leas-ionadaithe:— An Teachta Antoine Easmonn; An Teachta Nioclás Mac Aogáin; An Teachta Séamus Mac Giobúin; An Seanadóir Brian Ó Luineacháin.

This is the usual announcement on the appointment of representatives and substitutes from Ireland to the Council of Europe which is meeting in Strasbourg on the 20th April.

I have to inform the Dáil that together with the Chairmen of the Parliaments of all Member States of the Council of Europe I have been invited to attend the forthcoming ceremonial sitting of the Consultative Assembly, and I ask the concurrence of the House in my absence from its sittings on Tuesday and Wednesday next on that account.
