15.

asked the Minister for Lands if he is aware that the McCann Estate at Kilglyn, Kilcock, County Meath, was recently sold by private sale to an absentee purchaser; that portion of the Waddi Estate in the same vicinity is offered for sale; and that the estate at Drumlargan, Kilcock, now known as the Leslie Estate, is about to change hands; and if in view of the great need for increased population in the area the Land Commission will consider the propriety of acquiring these estates immediately.

The Land Commission are aware that the McCann Estate was sold recently and also that part of the Wadia Estate was offered for sale.
