Information in relation to the total number of schools, boys, girls and mixed, and the number in each category presenting choirs or orchestras for examination in 1958 and 1959 is given in the form of a tabular statement which, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, will be circulated with the Official Report.
All the schools which presented choirs or orchestras for examination in 1958 qualified for the payment of a bonus in respect of them. The number of schools qualifying for such bonus in 1959 will not be known before September 1959.
