Vol. 175 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Wexford Cheese Factory.

8.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will state the varieties of cheese to be manufactured in the proposed new factory at Wexford, and the factory's estimated output; and where the cheese will be marketed.

The main variety of cheese which it is intended to manufacture at the proposed new factory at Wexford is Camembert. It is not possible to give a figure for output, as this will depend largely on sales on the export market which will be the main outlet for the factory's products.
