Vol. 176 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Economic Co-operation with Six Counties.

12.

asked the Minister for External Affairs whether the Government have formulated any proposals for economic co-operation with the Government of the Six Counties; and, if so, if he will state the nature of such proposals; and, if not, if it is proposed to formulate such proposals.

A number of Agreements and working arrangements have been made for co-operation in electricity supply, transport, fishing, drainage, diseases of livestock, etc. The Government would be very willing to consider the extension of these measures but we do not deem the time opportune for the formulation in and publication of specific proposals.
