Vol. 176 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Drainage of North Tipperary Lands.

22.

asked the Minister for Local Government if in view of the flooding of the adjoining lands, he will give a grant to North Tipperary County Council for drainage work on the Carrighorrig, Knockearl and Bally-finboy rivers, which was held up on account of the withdrawal of grants under the Local Authorities (Works) Act.

I have no funds at my disposal for the provision of new grants to local authorities for operations under the Local Authorities (Works) Act.
