Committee on Finance. - Tourist Traffic Bill, 1959—Money Resolution.

I move:—

That for the purpose of any Act of the present session to authorise the payment of additional grants to Bord Fáilte Éireann it is expedient to authorise the payment to Bord Fáilte Éireann out of moneys provided by the Oireachtas of—

(1) such sums, not exceeding in the aggregate of £1,000,000, as the Board may require for the purpose of the giving of grants for the development of major tourist resorts, and

(2) such sums, not exceeding in the aggregate £500,000, as the Board may require for the purpose of the giving of grants for the development of holiday accommodation.
