The number of local authorities which have received grants from the Hospitals Trust Fund is 48. The number of years which have elapsed from the time local authorities first received grants until 31st March, 1959, is 25. The Deputy will appreciate, therefore, that the compilation of a statement in the particular form requested by him would entail an undue expenditure of time and labour but perhaps the information included in the subjoined table will meet his requirements.
