Vol. 177 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Pollution of Camac River.

11.

Mr. Ryan

andMr. M.J. O'Higgins asked the Minister for Local Government whether the Dublin Corporation and the Dublin County Council have submitted to him any plans of work necessary to prevent the pollution of the river Camac; and, if so, if he will state the nature of such plans.

I have received no proposals in regard to this matter.

Mr. Ryan

Is the Minister aware that Kilmainham and some other districts along the River Camac are inhabited by more rats than followed the Pied Piper of Hamelin and is he prepared to ask the Dublin Corporation to do something about it?
