Vol. 178 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - West Galway National Schools.

30.

asked the Minister for Education if he will state in respect of West Galway the number of new national schools in the course of erection this year, and the number of schools to be reconstructed.

There are at present five new national schools in the course of erection in West Galway constituency. It is expected that work will commence on the erection of two other schools before the end of the current financial year. Schemes of reconstruction are being carried out to three existing national schools, and it is likely that work on reconstruction schemes will commence at two other schools before the end of March next.
