Vol. 178 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Together (Cork) National School.

33.

asked the Minister for Education if he is aware of the pressing need for a new national school at Togher, Cork; and, if so, what steps he proposes to take to meet the need.

A grant has been sanctioned by my Department towards the cost of the erection of a new national school at Togher, Cork. The arrangements for the erection of the new school are being made by the Commissioners of Public Works and while I am not in a position at present to say when tenders will be invited every effort is being made to expedite the case.
