Vol. 178 No. 7

Health (Fluoridation of Water Supplies) Bill, 1959—First Stage.

Leave granted to introduce a Bill entitled an Act to provide for the making by health authorities of arrangements for the fluoridation of water supplied to the public by sanitary authorities through pipes, and to provide for certain other matters connected with the matter aforesaid:— (Minister for Health)

10th February.

I hope the Minister will give it to us some time over the Recess?

Yes, so that you can get your teeth into it.

What a pity this genial atmosphere does not obtain in the Custom House with the I.M.A.? If it did, they would not be getting their teeth into one another.

As a famous film star once said: "Come down and see me some time."

Do not address that to me; address it to the I.M.A.

On a point of order, may I inquire whether it is because Deputy O'Malley was previously prompted by the Minister for Health that he has now come to sit behind him to get prompting for further questions in the future?

That is not a point of order.

Second Stage ordered for Wednesday, 10th February, 1960.
