It is not my intention to change the scheme, as introduced on the 1st October last, for the eradication of bovine tuberculosis in the six southern dairying counties. I might mention, however, that the question of the retesting of herds in connection with the operation of that scheme is at present under consideration and an announcement in the matter will be made as soon as possible.
